Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Matteus Saarinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ernesto Pablo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pablo has chosen Top of the world as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Daniel Franklin and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pablo on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
It looks like Ernesto Pablo has been cut.
Pablo looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Saarinen tries to clinch but Pablo is having none of it.
Ernesto Pablo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Saarinen shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Pablo but Pablo pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Saarinen scores with a jab to the head.
Saarinen closes the distance and clinches.
A bit of stalling here from Saarinen.
Pablo wants to stall.
Saarinen tries to score a body lock takedown but Pablo shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Pablo stalling in the clinch but Saarinen improves position.

Saarinen dives in and grabs Pablo's left leg, looking for a takedown. Pablo pushes down on Saarinen's head and hops out.

Saarinen misses with a takedown attempt - Pablo sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Pablo tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Saarinen was well out of range. Poor timing from Pablo.
Ernesto Pablo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Saarinen tries to land a front kick but Pablo steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Pablo will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Saarinen throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Saarinen fails with an attempt to clinch.
Pablo misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Pablo displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Saarinen.
Pablo keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Saarinen tries to clinch but Pablo is having none of it.

Pablo wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Pablo has had enough of the clinch but Saarinen keeps him there for the moment.
Saarinen scores with a hook to the body.
Saarinen pulls guard successfully.
Saarinen is adopting a defensive guard.
Saarinen not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Saarinen bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Pablo's guard.

Pablo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Saarinen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Saarinen is working Pablo over with some ground and pound from side control.

Saarinen is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Pablo is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Pablo is working to avoid the ground and pound but Saarinen connects with a decent elbow.
Pablo takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Saarinen is looking to take a break and control but Pablo is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Saarinen has an Americana. Pablo didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Saarinen is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Saarinen hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
