Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hwang Yang Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ohiru Hultquist!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Shigeki Sano and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Hultquist connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Lee scrambles back to his feet.
Lee throws a head kick but Hultquist moves out of range.
Hultquist misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Lee pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Lee tries a head kick but it misses.
Lee thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Hultquist if he has to take too many more of those.
Lee misses with a few strikes there.
Hultquist throws a right hand that Lee ducks under and follows up with a left that Lee also avoids with ease.
Hultquist tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
A lazy left from Hultquist finds it's target.
Lee uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Hultquist.
Lee throws a head kick that half lands.
Lee misses with a leg kick.
Lee uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Hultquist.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lee scores with a jab to the body.
Hultquist scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Lee misses with a head kick.
Lee looks for the body kick but Hultquist saw that one coming.
Lee throws a head kick that misses.
Lee is breathing heavily.
Lee misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Hultquist is pawing at Lee, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Lee's nose. Lee is badly hurt! Hultquist pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Lee tries desperately to hold on but Hultquist is relentless in his assault! As Lee receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Hultquist away and this one is in the books!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ohiru Hultquist!
