Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jake Tyler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lime White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tyler comes to the cage accompanied by Yep. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
19 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jake Tyler! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Lime White! The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Colin Fray and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice shot by Tyler. Tyler ducks down and throws a hook to the body but White moves away. White throws a leg kick but Tyler sees it coming and moves out of range. Tyler lands with a right hand. Tyler moves out of range of the leg kick from White. White misses with a low kick.
White misses with the combination.
Tyler swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Tyler throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Tyler misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from White.
Tyler closes the distance and clinches. Tyler lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Tyler lands a nice uppercut. A nice glancing elbow lands by White. Tyler breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Tyler scores with a nice right hand.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Tyler circles away from the clinch attempt.
White lands with a right hand. A big right from Tyler misses. Tyler jabbing away but nothing is landing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tyler looking to score a takedown here. White is defending well but Tyler drives through and ends up in White's guard. Tyler throwing strikes from guard but White blocks nicely. White trying to control the position.
Tyler looking to pass the guard. White trying to keep a closed guard but Tyler is proving a slippery customer.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. White avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. White is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
White looking for a sweep. Not yet White, not yet. Tyler wants to control from the top but White keeps moving. White has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Tyler can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. White is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tyler drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but White manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Tyler has White in his guard. White stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tyler swivels though and keeps the full guard. Tyler is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. This has been an exciting period of action! Tyler is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. White is aware though and is defending well. Tyler is looking for a triangle but White pushes his legs off easily.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Tyler working for a triangle but White defends it easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tyler working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from White. White tries to free his leg and advance position but Tyler is retaining full guard. Tyler escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. White gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Tyler working for a triangle but White defends it easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. White trying to control but Tyler is working from the bottom. Tyler looking for a guillotine here but White defends easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. White stopping the sweep attempt from Tyler. White avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
White trying to control but Tyler is working from the bottom. White wants to stand but Tyler is controlling his posture from full guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Tyler keeping moving, preventing White from controlling successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jake Tyler dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
White tries to land a front kick but Tyler steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Tyler misses with the combination.
Jake Tyler seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tyler fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. White sprawls well initially but Tyler persists and gets the takedown into half guard. White looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. White wants to improve his position but Tyler is controlling well.
Tyler works his foot free and advances to mount. Tyler pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Tyler has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of White's face.
White is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Tyler lands a heavy shot. That's hurt White! Tyler sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless White and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Jake Tyler! Jake Tyler retains his welterweight title! Jake Tyler very nearly forgot to thank Revolution Fatigues amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
