The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nogueira fails with the takedown
and Van Gundy counters with a nice leg kick.
Nogueira shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Van Gundy as he avoids it easily.
Van Gundy thows a left - swing and a miss!
Van Gundy swings for the body but Nogueira moves out of range.
Nogueira shoots in but Van Gundy avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eduardo Ronaldo Nogueira. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Nogueira walks forward, straight into a front kick from Van Gundy.
Van Gundy wants to clinch up but Nogueira keeps it at a distance.
Nice sprawl there from Van Gundy as Nogueira shoots in.
Van Gundy lands a nice leg kick that just misses Nogueira's sensitive parts.
Nogueira fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Van Gundy avoids it really well and circles away.

Van Gundy seems to be stalking Nogueira here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastatic head kick! Nogueira drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!
