The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Taylor is defended easily by Meloy.
Taylor throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Meloy takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Meloy has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Taylor is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.

That was a close second round but I would say that Feilo Meloy will probably get the nod.
