Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Theron Morrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Toon Wing Sum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Morrison's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Thieves by Ministry. Toon Wing Sum has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sum falls off balance throwing a combination
and Morrison connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Sum misses with a body shot.
Morrison scores with a jab to the body.
Morrison throws a low kick but it's checked well by Sum.
Good work by Sum as he checks the leg kick.
The fighters circling - Sum throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Morrison lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
That kick from Morrison tenderised Sum's leg. Sum is trying to keep his angry face on.
Morrison wants to clinch up but Sum keeps it at a distance.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sum lands with an uppercut that bounces Morrison off the cage and back into range.
Sum throws the left hand but Morrison avoids the punch easily.

Sum tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Sum looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Morrison tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Sum is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Sum breaks from the clinch.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Sum moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
No joy there for Sum, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Sum lands a head shot.

Sum shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Morrison's guard.
Morrison looking for a sweep. Not yet Morrison, not yet.
Sum advances to half guard.
Sum missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Sum trying to mount his opponent but Morrison defends it.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Sum not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

A close round but Toon Wing Sum will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Sum misses with a series of wild punches.
Sum fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Morrison manages to avoid it.
Morrison throws a good cross that connects.
Sum slips under a jab from Morrison.
Sum chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Morrison can pounce on him.
Sum lands a nice shot that snaps Morrison's head back.
Morrison ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Sum throws a right and a left that both miss.
Sum misses the jab.
Morrison throws a leg kick but Sum moved away.
Morrison dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Morrison connects with a body shot.
Theron Morrison is winning the standup battle so far.
Sum takes a swing at Morrison's ribcage but misses.
Sum misses the shot to the body.
Morrison will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Sum takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Sum throws a jab but it's blocked by Morrison.
Sum staying out of range there.
Morrison lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Sum jabs at Morrison's body.
Morrison is looking to wear down Sum with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Sum moves away from the strike by Morrison.
Morrison connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Morrison gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Morrison has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sum accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
A big left from Sum misses.
Morrison tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Morrison fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Sum throws an overhand right that lands on Morrison's shoulder, as Morrison tries to avoid the shot.
Sum doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Sum misses with an uppercut
and Morrison counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Sum is rocked!
Morrison lands a big uppercut and this one is all over! His foe lies motionless on the canvas - a massive one punch knockout!
