Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marshall Noir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brad Bombada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Noir comes to the cage accompanied by Pride. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bombada throws a shot from downtown. Noir moves away and avoids it.
A big right from Bombada misses.
Bombada comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Bombada throws a jab when Noir was well out of range.
Bombada throws a right and a left that both miss.
Noir connects with a leg kick. Bombada looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Noir tries to score with a low kick but Bombada moves his leg out of the way.
Bombada lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Noir seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Bombada does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Noir has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Noir connects with a nice short shot to Bombada's temple.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Noir throws a front kick aimed at Bombada's knee but Bombada avoids it well.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Bombada crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Noir - the referee stops the clock and Bombada gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Noir. Bombada manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Noir shoots in looking for a takedown but Bombada manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Noir's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Noir has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Noir there as he acknowledges the shot.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bombada can do anything to dispel that myth.

Noir wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Bombada, who protects the arm well.

Noir lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Noir tries to advance to mount but Bombada denies him.
Bombada parries the strikes from Noir easily there. Noir is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Bombada to escape.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
