Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Adam Beaudreaux! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Langdon Dolwilt! The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Chad Campbell and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Beaudreaux looks to land a left hand but Dolwilt moved out of range nicely. Dolwilt scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Beaudreaux is looking for a sweep. Dolwilt stands up and beckons Beaudreaux to his feet. Beaudreaux getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Beaudreaux gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Dolwilt to score an easy takedown into full guard. Dolwilt gets to his feet - Beaudreaux follows without any prompting. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Dolwilt bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Beaudreaux dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Beaudreaux blocks a head kick by Dolwilt.
A looping hook to the body misses from Beaudreaux. Dolwilt does a little dance to reset his feet. Beaudreaux has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Dolwilt. Beaudreaux fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Dolwilt manages to avoid it. Dolwilt looking for a takedown here - he's got it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dolwilt showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Beaudreaux is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Dolwilt is aware though and is defending well. Dolwilt gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. A head kick misses from Dolwilt. Dolwilt takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Beaudreaux waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Dolwilt. Dolwilt chopping away at his opponent's legs.

and Dolwilt counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Dolwilt sitting and controlling from the half guard. Beaudreaux is looking to improve his position.
Beaudreaux is trying to maintain the position but Dolwilt is very close to passing his half guard. Dolwilt works his foot free and advances to mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dolwilt is standing up, even though he is in mount. Dolwilt buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Dolwilt gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Beaudreaux throws a right hand that misses
and Dolwilt counters with an inside leg kick. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Beaudreaux misses the jab. Beaudreaux lands a jab to the nose. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dolwilt slips a jab from Beaudreaux. Beaudreaux fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Dolwilt throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Beaudreaux.
It looks like Adam Beaudreaux has been cut. That kick from Dolwilt tenderised Beaudreaux's leg. Beaudreaux is trying to keep his angry face on. Beaudreaux throws the left hand but Dolwilt avoids the punch easily. Langdon Dolwilt is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Beaudreaux scores with a jab. Beaudreaux lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
That's one minute gone in the round. A momentary lapse in concentration from Beaudreaux enables Dolwilt to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Beaudreaux manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Dolwilt stands up from guard. Let's bang! Beaudreaux misses with a wild body shot. Beaudreaux misses with a body shot. Beaudreaux lands with a nice body punch. Dolwilt connects with a leg kick. Beaudreaux looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Dolwilt looking to score a takedown here. Beaudreaux is defending well but Dolwilt drives through and ends up in Beaudreaux's guard. Beaudreaux had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Dolwilt defends it easily. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Dolwilt decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Dolwilt.
Dolwilt has closed the distance and engaged Beaudreaux in a clinch.
Dolwilt tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Beaudreaux avoids it. Dolwilt pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dolwilt is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Dolwilt throws a head kick but Beaudreaux moves out of range.
Beaudreaux throws a hook but Dolwilt blocks it. Beaudreaux swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Dolwilt shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Beaudreaux's guard. Dolwilt stands and steps away. Beaudreaux gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Dolwilt scores with a nice body kick.
Langdon Dolwilt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Beaudreaux keeps the fight on the outside. Dolwilt shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Beaudreaux's guard. Beaudreaux is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Beaudreaux wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Dolwilt manages to pass to side control. Dolwilt throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Beaudreaux was covering up waiting for the punch and Dolwilt finishes the takedown easily into guard. Beaudreaux looking for a guillotine here but Dolwilt defends easily.
Beaudreaux is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Dolwilt stands up from guard. Let's bang! Beaudreaux thows a body shot but no joy.

A slapping leg kick lands for Dolwilt.
That kick from Dolwilt tenderised Beaudreaux's leg. Beaudreaux is trying to keep his angry face on. Good leg kick by Dolwilt there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Beaudreaux misses with an uppercut
and Dolwilt counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Beaudreaux is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Dolwilt turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Dolwilt throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Dolwilt forces Beaudreaux back against the cage and clinches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dolwilt keeps control of Beaudreaux as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Dolwilt breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Beaudreaux chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Dolwilt can pounce on him.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A decent looking body kick lands there for Dolwilt. A combination from Dolwilt does no damage. That kick from Dolwilt tenderised Beaudreaux's leg. Beaudreaux is trying to keep his angry face on. Langdon Dolwilt seems to be getting the better of the standup.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dolwilt throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Beaudreaux. Dolwilt drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Dolwilt slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Beaudreaux throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Dolwilt escapes and throws Beaudreaux's legs to the side, diving into side control! A lull in the action here as Dolwilt stalls from top position. Dolwilt working away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dolwilt is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Beaudreaux will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Dolwilt stands up and we're back to a striking position. Dolwilt misses with a head kick.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Dolwilt connects with a good right hand that stumbles Beaudreaux. Beaudreaux circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Adam Beaudreaux has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Langdon Dolwilt is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Beaudreaux ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
And that's the end of the fight! Langdon Dolwilt comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Dolwilt has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
