Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Mustain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bruce Lee struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 136.3lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Kyle Mustain has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kyle Mustain! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bruce Lee! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Robert Twigg and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mustain fails to land the takedown. Mustain scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Mustain connects with a nice short shot to Lee's temple. Lee works his way to full guard. Good work. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mustain wants to control from the top but Lee keeps moving. Lee is trying to control the position but Mustain postures up. Mustain preventing the sweep. Lee keeping moving, preventing Mustain from controlling successfully. Lee has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Mustain can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Lee is trying to control the position but Mustain postures up. Mustain passes Lee's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Lee is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Mustain pulls his head out easily. Still in half guard, Mustain seems content to control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mustain seems to be working for a kimura but Lee defends the submission attempt. Mustain trying to control from half guard but Lee is working away. Lee looks like he's trying to stand up.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Mustain shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lee as he jumps to the side. Mustain fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kyle Mustain. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mustain avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Lee wants to clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Mustain shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lee but Lee pushes him off and we're back to square one. Lee closes the distance and clinches. Lee prevents Mustain from breaking the clinch. Mustain tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Lee must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Lee decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Horrible takedown by Mustain or perhaps it was just good defense by Lee which made him look bad. Mustain is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Lee. Mustain gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Knees in the clinch landing for Lee.
Mustain tries to pull guard but Lee holds him up against the cage and eventually Mustain drops back down to his feet.

Lee would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Mustain is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Lee gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Lee darts in trying to clinch and Mustain counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Lee wants to control but Mustain is keeping busy and won't allow it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lee tries to kick Mustain off but Mustain keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Lee trying to control but Mustain postures up.
Nice strikes from Mustain there. Mustain lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Lee is rocked! Mustain works his foot free and advances to mount. Lee is still in real trouble! Can Mustain finish him? BOOM! Mustain connects with a massive shot to the dome!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Lee is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Mustain controlling from mount. Mustain landing shots from mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mustain sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kyle Mustain dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Crack! A monster head kick from Mustain and Lee falls like a tree - timbeeeeeeeeeeerrrr! A highlight reel knockout by Mustain!
