Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chester Gates (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jakob Alexander (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gates's entrance music is 9 Piece. A fine choice. Alexander is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: My Name. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

No luck with that takedown attempt from Gates.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Alexander connects with a good right hand that stumbles Gates. Gates circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Gates will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Chester Gates seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A head kick misses from Alexander.
Alexander throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Gates on the side of the head.
Gates lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
No luck for Gates with that takedown attempt.

Alexander works the jab nicely.
Alexander throws a solid leg kick but Gates takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Alexander.
Gates throws a right hand that Alexander ducks under and follows up with a left that Alexander also avoids with ease.
Alexander lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Gates scores with the left hand. Alexander knows he should have avoided that one.
