Muay Thai tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
The fight stays on the outside here - Muay Thai looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

and Oliveira counters with a shoot takedown. Muay Thai fights it but they end up in guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Oliveira is standing up over Muay Thai. Muay Thai looks to escape but Oliveira dives into side control.
Oliveira remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Muay Thai really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Oliveira. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Oliveira has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Muay Thai is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Oliveira yanks on the arm and Muay Thai is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Oliveira.
