Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kenneth Wayne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Ellenberger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wayne comes to the cage accompanied by Larry and His Flask - Beggers will Ride. Ellenberger has chosen Guano Apes - Open Your Eyes as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kenneth Wayne! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nick Ellenberger! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Elvis Blanc and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Good shot there by Wayne. Ellenberger misses with the combination.
Wayne ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ellenberger moves away. Ellenberger gets the takedown into side control. Wayne is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Ellenberger's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Wayne blocking the ground and pound attempt from Ellenberger. Ellenberger thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Ellenberger has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Wayne trying to hold on to Ellenberger's head to control him but Ellenberger postures up.
Wayne is looking to improve his position.
Ellenberger sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Wayne defending well though. Wayne manages to get to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ellenberger looking to sit in guard and control but Wayne gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Ellenberger wants to sweep but no luck. Wayne trying to stand up but can't free himself from Ellenberger's guard. Wayne stands up from guard. Let's bang! Wayne cracks the inside of Ellenberger's front leg. Wayne throws a low kick but it's checked well by Ellenberger. Ellenberger shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Wayne as he jumps to the side. Kenneth Wayne is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wayne keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Wayne takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Wayne looks to land a left hand but Ellenberger moved out of range nicely. Ellenberger feints a jab promting Wayne to slip. Ellenberger then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Wayne slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Wayne cracks the inside of Ellenberger's front leg. Ellenberger changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Wayne scores with the left hand. Ellenberger knows he should have avoided that one. Wayne fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Ellenberger, pushing him back against the cage. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Wayne. Wayne working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Ellenberger wants to take the fight to the mat but Wayne manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Wayne pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wayne scores with a leg kick.
Ellenberger takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Ellenberger throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Wayne. Wayne tries to land a front kick but Ellenberger steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Left hook, right uppercut from Ellenberger. Ellenberger throws an overhand right that lands on Wayne's shoulder, as Wayne tries to avoid the shot. Ellenberger fails to land with a series of punches.
The crowd cheers as Wayne lands an impressive looking overhand right. Ellenberger doesn't seem phased though. Wayne fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
The fighters circling - Ellenberger throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Ellenberger slips a jab and a cross from Wayne.
Wayne throws a jab when Ellenberger was well out of range. Wayne works Ellenberger's body with a nice hook.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wayne thumps Ellenberger with a low kick. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Wayne looks for the body kick but Ellenberger saw that one coming. Jab from Wayne. Wayne lands with a slapping head kick. Kenneth Wayne seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wayne punishes Ellenberger's body with a nice straight punch. Ellenberger on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Wayne moves into range and clinches up with Ellenberger. Wayne manages to break the clinch.
Ellenberger throws a body punch but Wayne moves out of range. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Nice defenses there by Ellenberger. Wayne rushes Ellenberger and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Ellenberger tries for a takedown. No joy.
Kenneth Wayne has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nick Ellenberger. Wayne escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Kenneth Wayne dominated that round. That's time! Wayne's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Wayne ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Wayne throws a lazy uppercut
and Ellenberger counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Jab by Wayne. Wayne connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Wayne throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Wayne tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ellenberger was well out of range. Poor timing from Wayne. Wayne clinches with his opponent.
Wayne misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Ellenberger is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Wayne pulls him back up using the underhooks. Ellenberger has Wayne pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Wayne manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Ellenberger can't get the takedown.

Ellenberger stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Wayne. Wayne slips under a jab. Wayne moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Ellenberger is breathing heavily. Ellenberger keeps the fight on the outside. Wayne clobbers Ellenberger with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Ellenberger walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Nick Ellenberger is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Wayne throws a nice inside leg kick. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Wayne tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ellenberger was well out of range. Poor timing from Wayne. Wayne scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Wayne closes the distance and clinches. Wayne is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Ellenberger has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Wayne avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wayne is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. A right hand to the body from Wayne.
Ellenberger has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Wayne after a bit of a struggle. Wayne stalling in the clinch.
Wayne tries to throw a body punch but Ellenberger avoids it by throwing Wayne back against the cage. Wayne gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Ellenberger.
Wayne leaning his opponent against the cage. Ellenberger's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Ellenberger is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Wayne pulls him back up using the underhooks. Ellenberger is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Ellenberger can't break the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wayne pushes Ellenberger back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Wayne lands a nice uppercut. Wayne breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Ellenberger takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Ellenberger is rocked! Wayne gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Ellenberger is still on wobbly legs! Can Wayne finish him? Wayne lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Ellenberger backwards. Wayne lands a big knee! That's hurt Ellenberger! Oh, he's all over the place! Wayne lands another knee that sends Ellenberger to the floor and the referee steps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:30 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kenneth Wayne! An out of breath Kenneth Wayne thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
