Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Maverick Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eric Sabacajan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones's entrance music is Little Secrets - Passion Pit. A fine choice. Eric Sabacajan will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Maverick Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Eric Sabacajan!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, William Peck and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Sabacajan counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Sabacajan throws an off balance right hand
and Jones decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Sabacajan's guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Jones showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Sabacajan keeping moving, preventing Jones from controlling successfully.
Sabacajan throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sabacajan striking off his back but it's not causing Jones any problems.
Jones sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Jones might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Sabacajan is trying to keep Jones in close.
Sabacajan throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.

Jones trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Jones drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Sabacajan dives on top into guard.
Jones controls Sabacajan momentarily but Sabacajan frees himself.
Jones is pulling down on Sabacajan's head. It's preventing any offense from Sabacajan, at least for the moment.
Sabacajan postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Jones preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Jones is pulling down on Sabacajan's head to control his posture.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jones trying to control the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Maverick Jones wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Jones instigates a clinch.
Jones comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Sabacajan on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Sabacajan wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Jones has him pressed against the cage.
Jones lands an elbow inside.
Jones missing with knees to the body.
Sabacajan breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Eric Sabacajan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sabacajan misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Jones wants to clinch
and Sabacajan counters with a huge head kick that drops Jones! The ref dives in to stop the fight and the crowd goes wild!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Eric Sabacajan!
A very excited looking Eric Sabacajan made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
