Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Donald Brevik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hae Ki Park (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Donald Brevik! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Hae Ki Park! The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Marco Blurström and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A head kick misses from Park. Brevik tries to close the distance and clinch but Park swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Park has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Brevik. Park dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Park misses with a series of wild punches.
Brevik throws a shot from downtown. Park moves away and avoids it. Brevik throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Park throws out a loose jab but Brevik uses good head movement to avoid it. Brevik chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Brevik throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Park's head. Park dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Brevik connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Park misses with a straight right. A chopping leg kick lands by Brevik. Park throws a push kick but Brevik slaps the foot to one side. Brevik throws a lazy head kick and Park counters with a stiff right hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Park checks the leg kick nicely there.
Park pushes Brevik away with a front kick. Brevik misses with an uppercut
letting Park counter with a right hand. Park scores with the left hand. Brevik knows he should have avoided that one. Park misses with an uppercut
and Brevik counters with a leg kick. Park will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Brevik uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Park. Park takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. A good leg kick by Park. Park gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Brevik. Brevik looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Park keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Brevik connects with a high kick. This has been an exciting period of action! Park needs to keep his hands up - Brevik had a free shot at his head there. Park lands a nice shot to the body.

Park looks for the body kick but Brevik saw that one coming. Brevik slips under a jab from Park. Park misses with a hook. Brevik ducked under it nicely. Good standup being displayed there by Brevik as he connects with a hook. Park tries to land a leg kick but Brevik saw it coming and moves away.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Brevik takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Brevik avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Brevik takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Park throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Park clinches with his opponent.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Park just misses with a elbow thrown towards Brevik's brow. Brevik pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Park dodges the punch combination from Brevik.
Park motions for Brevik to come forward. Park throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. A big right from Brevik misses. Park throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Brevik throws a looping overhand right but Park ducks down to avoid it. Brevik lands a lovely overhand right. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Park throws a hook to the side of Brevik's head but Brevik sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Brevik moves out of range as Park throws a body kick.

Brevik lands a jab-cross combination. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hae Ki Park dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Brevik gets tackled into the cage by Park. Park maintains the clinch. Brevik tries to circle away but Park has him pinned against the cage. Brevik throws a knee to the head but misses.

Brevik has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ. Brevik landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.

Brevik pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Park lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Brevik blocks the body kick.
Brevik walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Park checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Park tries to land a front kick but Brevik steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Brevik throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Park misses with a straight left. Brevik throws a sloppy head kick and Park moves out of range easily. Park scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Brevik throws an overhand right that lands on Park's shoulder, as Park tries to avoid the shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Park dips down and scores with a jab to the body. This has been an exciting period of action! Brevik lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Brevik throws a lazy head kick and Park counters with an inside leg kick. Brevik uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Park. Nice straight punches there by Park. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Park. Brevik checks a low kick from Park. Brevik tried to score with a low kick but Park checks it. Brevik throws the left hand but Park avoids the punch easily. Brevik blocks a head kick by Park.
Hae Ki Park seems to be getting the better of the standup. Park throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Brevik takes a body punch but keeps moving. Brevik avoids the body shot from Park.
Brevik tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Park paws at him with a jab and circles away. Park is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Brevik.
