Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steve Fisher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bull Dogg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bull Dogg has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Steve Fisher!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bull Dogg!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Steve Smith and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dogg throws a one two combo.

Dogg decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fisher pushes Dogg off looking to stand but Dogg dives back in and keeps control.
Still in half guard, Dogg seems content to control.

Fisher manages to escape and get back to his feet!

Fisher avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Fisher shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Fisher showed some decent athleticism there.
Dogg trying to control but Fisher postures up.
Fisher passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Dogg!

Fisher avoids the attempt from Dogg to control.
Fisher can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Dogg is looking to escape.
Dogg is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Fisher controlling from the full mount.
Dogg tries to hold on but Fisher pushes him away.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Fisher takes Dogg's back.
Dogg tries to escape but Fisher has the hooks in and won't let him break free.

Fisher is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Dogg knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Dogg for a finish.
Dogg looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
I would not like to be Dogg right now.

Dogg trying to control but not successfully.
Dogg tries to escape the position.

Dogg preventing the rear naked choke attempt from Fisher.
Fisher is trying to stick to Dogg's back but Dogg is turning into Fisher. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Fisher's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Dogg.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Dogg controlling from the top position.
Let's hope that Dogg has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Fisher has Dogg pulled in close to control his posture.
Dogg looking to pass the guard.
Dogg looking to sit in guard and control but Fisher gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Steve Fisher dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Fisher tries a head kick but it misses.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Fisher, right into the meat.
Nice body kick from Fisher.
Dogg misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Fisher here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
Dogg is looking to clinch.
Dogg uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Fisher.
Dogg is breathing heavily.
Fisher feints and then cracks Dogg's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Dogg down.

Fisher lands a high kick to the side of Dogg's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Fisher dives into guard, looking to finish.


It looks like Bull Dogg has been cut.
Dogg pulls Fisher in to control the position.

Dogg has his feet on Fisher's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Dogg gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Fisher counters with a leg kick.
Fisher tries for a takedown but Dogg circles away easily

and Dogg counters by moving into the clinch.
Dogg tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Dogg is trying to stall.
Fisher keeps control of Dogg as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Fisher throws an elbow but it misses.
A head punch on the inside from Dogg fails to land.
Dogg is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Fisher pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Steve Fisher has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bull Dogg.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Dogg tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Fisher breaks from the clinch.
Fisher darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Fisher with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Dogg avoids a punch combination nicely.
Fisher scores with the left hand. Dogg knows he should have avoided that one.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Dogg looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Dogg takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Dogg bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Fisher swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Dogg.

Fisher shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
The referee warns Dogg that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Dogg is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Fisher avoids the attempt from Dogg to control.
Fisher sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Dogg is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Dogg tries to control Fisher's body but Fisher pushes him off. Dogg squirms to his side and now Fisher has his back!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Steve Fisher dominated that second round.
The cut man is working on Bull Dogg's cut.
That's time! Fisher's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!


Donk. Fisher catches Dogg right on the button with a cross.
Fisher with a jab.
Fisher walks into a straight right hand from Dogg.
Steve Fisher is winning the standup battle so far.
Dogg throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
letting Fisher counter with a right hand.
Fisher lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Fisher jabs Dogg right on the nose. Dogg blinks but takes it well.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Fisher thows a body shot but no joy.
Dogg takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Fisher tests Dogg's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Dogg avoids the body shot from Fisher.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Fisher lands with a hook. Dogg tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Dogg swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Fisher counters with a big head kick but Dogg shrugs it off.


Dogg is rocked!
Dogg tries to clinch but Fisher moves out of range.
Dogg is still on wobbly legs! Can Fisher finish him?
Bull Dogg is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Fisher circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Dogg to the canvas! Dogg doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Fisher keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:39 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Steve Fisher!
