Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Steve Montenegro and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wall fails with a takedown attempt.
Wall misses with a few strikes there.
Wall tries for a takedown but Diaz circles away easily
and Diaz counters with a nice kick to the body.
Diaz connects with a solid leg kick.
Wall fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Diaz tries to clinch but Wall is having none of it.
Diaz throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

Wall misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Some bone on bone action there as Wall checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Wall tries for a takedown but Diaz sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Wall closes the distance and clinches up with Diaz, looking for a takedown. Wall pushes Diaz against the cage but Diaz circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Diaz fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Wall.

Wall shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Diaz as he avoids it easily.
A head kick misses from Diaz.
Diaz tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Wall closes the distance and clinches up with Diaz, looking for a takedown. Wall pushes Diaz against the cage but Diaz circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Diaz stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Diaz wants it to stay on the feet.
Diego Diaz is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Diaz feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Wall's calf.
Wall fails with an attempt to clinch.
Wall on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Diaz tries to close the distance and clinch up but Wall swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Wall tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Diaz takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Wall moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
Wall prevents Diaz from escaping the position.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Diaz is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Wall in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Diaz is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Wall is controlling him well.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Diaz is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Wall landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
Wall connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Diaz some visible discomfort.

It looks like Grimey Wall has been cut.

Diaz escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Wall blocks a head kick by Diaz.

Wall fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Diaz tries to land a leg kick but Wall saw it coming and moves away.

Wall shoots in looking for a takedown. Diaz tries to sprawl out of it but Wall keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Diaz manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
