Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Third Boy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boy comes to the cage accompanied by New York. Smith has chosen In The Morning as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Ackerman and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boy throws a shot from downtown. Smith moves away and avoids it.
Smith connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Boy moves into the clinch successfully.
Boy jumps guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Smith tries to stand but Boy is controlling from the bottom.
Boy has his foot on Smith's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Smith works his way back into a safe position though.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Mike Smith is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Smith lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Boy circles away quickly and effectively.

Smith ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Mike Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Boy uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Smith.

Smith keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Boy swings for the body but Smith moves out of range.
Smith lands a head kick. Boy smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Boy postures up in Smith's guard and throws a big left but Smith blocks it.

Boy lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Boy sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Smith's guard.

Smith is trying to stand up.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Smith really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Boy. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Boy ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Smith throws a low kick, looking for Boy's leg but Boy calmly moves out of range.
Smith fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Smith goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Boy fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Boy misses the jab.
Smith looks to land a right hand but Boy moved out of range.
Boy swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Smith throws a series of punches but Boy moves out of range.
Boy shoots in but Smith avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Smith keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Boy fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Smith avoids it really well and circles away.
Boy tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Smith was well out of range. Poor timing from Boy.

Smith scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Smith connects with a crisp jab.
Boy looks to throw the jab but Smith is out of range.
Smith slips under a jab.
Smith takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Boy shoots in for a double leg but Smith sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Third Boy. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Boy takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Boy misses the shot to the body.
Smith bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Boy's head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Boy takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Boy throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Boy takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Boy shoots in and drives through. Smith sprawls well.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Smith sizes up Boy with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Smith jabs Boy right on the nose. Boy blinks but takes it well.
Oh Boy is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Boy tries to get into range but Smith steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Boy! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Smith scores the big KO victory!
