PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between DeAngelo Spite (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Buoy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Spite might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to "Here Comes The Boom" - Nelly. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, DeAngelo Spite!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Danny Buoy!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Yves DeLean and Gregory Folan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spite throws a lazy right hand but Buoy sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Spite throws a right and a left that Buoy avoids nicely.
Spite slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Spite throws a right and a left that both miss.
Spite fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Buoy looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Spite rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Buoy moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Spite looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Spite ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Buoy moves away.
Spite keeps the fight on the outside.

Buoy darts in and clinches Spite up against the cage.

Buoy manages to break the clinch.
Spite just misses with a punch to the body.
Buoy uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Spite.
Spite will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Spite throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Spite lands a jab-cross combination.

Buoy is rocked!
DeAngelo Spite is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Buoy tries for a takedown but Spite sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Buoy is still on wobbly legs! Can Spite finish him?
Spite is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Buoy flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Buoy is out cold! Spite holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
