The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zambidis misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

It looks like Michael Campbell has been cut.
Campbell throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Zambidis's waist but Zambidis gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Campbell off to one side.
Campbell shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Campbell tries for a takedown but Zambidis sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Michael Campbell. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Zambidis fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Zambidis throws a right and a left that both miss.
Zambidis closes this distance looking for a takedown but Campbell circles away.
Zambidis is trying hard to land a takedown here. Campbell sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Zambidis stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Zambidis wants it to stay on the feet.
Campbell tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Zambidis swivels and escapes.
Campbell looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Horrible takedown by Campbell or perhaps it was just good defense by Zambidis which made him look bad.

Zambidis leaves Campbell with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Zambidis keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

No luck with that takedown attempt from Campbell.
Zambidis closes the distance and clinches up with Campbell, looking for a takedown. Zambidis pushes Campbell against the ropes but Campbell circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Zambidis shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Campbell as he avoids it easily.
Campbell shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Zambidis's guard.
Zambidis wants to hit a switch here but Campbell passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Zambidis there!
Campbell quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Campbell but it's paid off an Zambidis is forced to tap! Nice work by Campbell.
