Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Snow Crash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gargantua Pantagruel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pantagruel has chosen THE MONSTER MASH! With the funniest video! as his entrance music. Gargantua Pantagruel will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Snow Crash! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Gargantua Pantagruel! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pantagruel shoots for a takedown but Crash saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Pantagruel connects with a good right hand that stumbles Crash. Crash circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Crash tries to sprawl but Pantagruel drives through with a takedown into half guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Pantagruel wants to free his trapped foot but Crash is holding on for dear life with his legs. Crash is not content to let Pantagruel control the position. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Pantagruel connects with a nice short shot to Crash's temple. Crash wants to improve his position but Pantagruel is controlling well.
Pantagruel is looking to take a break and control but Crash is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Crash wants to get back to full guard. Pantagruel thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
That's one minute gone in the round. Crash holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now. Pantagruel has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Pantagruel scores a takedown into full mount! Crash wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Pantagruel.

Pantagruel throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Pantagruel goes for an armbar but Crash turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Crash. Pantagruel utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Crash has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Crash throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Crash being controlled here momentarily. Crash throwing strikes but missing. Crash wants to control from the top but Pantagruel keeps moving. Pantagruel seems keen to control Crash's posture. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Pantagruel looking to control.
Gargantua Pantagruel has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Pantagruel moves away from the strike by Crash. The fighters circling - Crash throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Crash throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pantagruel with a poor takedown and Crash counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Pantagruel! Crash lands a big shot there that rocks Pantagruel but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Crash lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Pantagruel is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Crash scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Pantagruel?

Crash avoids the attempt from Pantagruel to control. Crash drops a big elbow. That's hurt Pantagruel! More shots from Crash and the ref steps in! The fight is over!
