Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Valentino Rosso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robbie Mederios (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mederios is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Amazing Grace by The Dropkick Murphys. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Valentino Rosso! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Robbie Mederios! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Chris Edwards and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mederios throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Rosso sees it coming and avoids it easily. Mederios lands with an overhand left. Mederios waves his right hand out infront of him, looking to distract Rosso. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Rosso to the canvas! Can he finish him!?
Rosso is rocked! Rosso seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Oh Rosso is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Mederios must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Rosso is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Rosso seems to have got his legs back now. Rosso will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Mederios wants to control from the top but Rosso keeps moving. Mederios sitting in guard here, content to control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rosso is controlling Mederios's posture. Mederios trying to control the position from guard on top but Rosso is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Rosso managing to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Mederios scoring with some ground and pound. Rosso controlling Mederios's posture. Mederios stopping the sweep attempt from Rosso. Rosso really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Rosso manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mederios tries to hold on but Rosso postures up. Rosso takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Mederios is working to get back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Rosso tries to control but Mederios wriggling away. Rosso tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Mederios is trying to escape the mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Robbie Mederios dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Rosso shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mederios pinned against the cage. Mederios gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Mederios lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Rosso tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mederios swats him away and circles back towards the center. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Jab, jab by Mederios - just one landing. Mederios fails with the takedown and Rosso counters with a nice double leg into side control. Mederios won't be happy with that. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Mederios can't do much from the bottom here. Mederios manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! The fighters are battling for position here. Rosso manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rosso has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Rosso lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Mederios! Rosso controlling the pace for now. Mederios tries to hold on but Rosso pushes him away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Rosso controlling from mount. Rosso looking to control but Mederios is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Rosso content just to control the position here.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Valentino Rosso just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Mederios throws a left and a right that both miss
and Rosso counters with a takedown into side control. Mederios is breathing heavily. Rosso taking a breather here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mederios is trying to get back to half guard. Rosso happy to just control the position for now. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Valentino Rosso dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

and Rosso counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Mederios! Rosso looking to control and managing it successfully. Rosso has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Rosso trying to control but Mederios is having none of it.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Valentino Rosso just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Mederios tries a head kick but it misses.
Rosso throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Rosso tries to close the distance and clinch but Mederios swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Robbie Mederios seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mederios swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Rosso scores a takedown into full mount! Both fighters are breathing heavily. Rosso controlling from the full mount. Mederios is wriggling around trying to escape.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rosso looking to control and managing it successfully.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Rosso slips a straight right by Mederios. Mederios throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Rosso takes a shot right to the bread basket. A head kick misses from Rosso. Mederios swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Rosso counters with a flying knee. Nice. Mederios misses with a hook. Rosso ducked under it nicely. Rosso defending well as Mederios loads up on a big left hand.
And that's the end of the fight! Valentino Rosso showed his dominance in that final round. I think Rosso has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
