The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice leg kick lands there from Splinter.
Kjellstrom shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Kjellstrom defending well as Splinter loads up on a big left hand.
Splinter cracks a nice hook into Kjellstrom's ribs.
Splinter pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Kjellstrom tries for a takedown but Splinter sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kjellstrom on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Kjellstrom tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in the close the distance. Splinter manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Master Splinter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Splinter lands a nice leg kick that just misses Kjellstrom's sensitive parts.

Kjellstrom bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Splinter comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Kjellstrom falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Kjellstrom was out before he hit the floor!
