6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mu Cephei! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Saroa has managed to clinch.
Cephei pulls guard. Saroa missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Cephei is looking for a triangle but Saroa pushes his legs off easily.
Cephei is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Saroa defends well. Saroa passes Cephei's left leg - he's now in half guard. Cephei missing with punches from the bottom.
Cephei actively working from the bottom here. Cephei is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Saroa pulls his head out easily. Cephei looking for submissions off his back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Saroa is trying to control. Cephei wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Saroa is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Cephei is just riding it out for now. Saroa eventually gives up the hold.
