Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kim Hendi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mamed Khalidov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Khalidov has chosen Eto Kavkaz as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kim Hendi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mamed Khalidov!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Ren Mimura and Hirohito Nitta.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hendi shoots for a takedown but Khalidov saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Khalidov looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Horrible takedown by Hendi or perhaps it was just good defense by Khalidov which made him look bad.
Hendi ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Khalidov avoids the head kick by Hendi.
Hendi tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Khalidov manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Hendi throws a body kick that misses.

Hendi is trying hard to land a takedown here. Khalidov sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Hendi escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Khalidov gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Hendi had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Khalidov defends it easily.

Khalidov wanted to stand there but Hendi had control of the position.

Hendi is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Hendi isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Khalidov stacks Hendi on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Khalidov!

Khalidov is desperately trying to improve his position but Hendi has a good base and remains in mount.

Hendi looking to control but Khalidov is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Hendi is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Khalidov is surviving well by controlling Hendi's body position as best he can.
Hendi wants to control the pace but Khalidov is squirming around nicely.
Hendi throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Hendi unloads with some shots from mount but Khalidov bucks and avoids them well.
Khalidov is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Khalidov is squirming around, avoiding Hendi's attempts to control the action.

Hendi tries to control but Khalidov wriggling away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!


A punch lands to the side of Khalidov 's head but he takes it in his stride.

and Hendi holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Hendi changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Khalidov fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Khalidov shoots in but Hendi avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Hendi will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Khalidov takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Khalidov leaves Hendi with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Hendi looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Khalidov shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Hendi defends it nicely.
Hendi looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Khalidov moves out of range as Hendi throws a body kick.
Khalidov tries to land a leg kick but Hendi saw it coming and moves away.
Hendi shoots in but Khalidov avoids the takedown attempt easily.

I would just about give that final round to Mamed Khalidov.
Well Hendi has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
