Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Baru Damdin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Graga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). John Graga has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Baru Damdin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, John Graga! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shigeki Sano and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Damdin closes this distance looking for a takedown but Graga circles away. Damdin will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Graga wants to clinch up but Damdin keeps it at a distance. Damdin gets a takedown into half guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Damdin thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Graga's head. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Damdin lands a nice short elbow. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Damdin slips nicely into half guard. Damdin working the head and body with strikes. Damdin takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Damdin connects with a nice short shot to Graga's temple. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Graga taking some punishment here, with Damdin in his half guard. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Damdin looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Damdin drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Graga manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Damdin has Graga in his guard. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Damdin is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Graga tries to avoid it but Damdin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Graga to the ground. Graga escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. John Graga showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Baru Damdin overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. The ground and pound from Damdin seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
