Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Luca Brasi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and William Buckley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckley has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Joseph Jones and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brasi throws a hook but Buckley blocks it.
Buckley looks gassed!
Brasi misses with a looping right.
Sloppy strikes from Brasi. Those never looked like landing.
Buckley moves out of range as Brasi strikes.
A telegraphed right hand from Brasi misses the target.
Brasi throws a poor cross that misses
and Buckley counters with a takedown into side control.
Brasi is pushing Buckley's head away, looking to escape. Buckley manages to hold on to the position though.
Buckley throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Brasi is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Buckley asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Buckley misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Brasi pushes Buckley away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Buckley gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Brasi knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Buckley on the ground.
Buckley in side control lands a decent elbow.
Brasi is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Buckley looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Brasi is avoiding damage well.

Brasi pushes Buckley away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Buckley gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Buckley cracks Brasi with a big right hand but Brasi just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Brasi is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Buckley has just dragged him back down to the mat.

The ground and pound from Buckley seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Brasi is trying to get back to his feet.
Buckley tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.

Buckley creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Brasi sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Buckley throwing strikes but Brasi manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Buckley tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Brasi wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Buckley tries to buck Brasi off but Brasi is having none of it.
Brasi wants to control but Buckley is keeping him busy.
Brasi works to advance to full mount. Buckley defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Brasi can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Buckley is looking to escape.

It looks like William Buckley has been cut.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Brasi scoring with strikes but Buckley is staying in there.

That has opened up William Buckley's cut even more.

BOOM! Brasi connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Buckley is rocked!
William Buckley's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at William Buckley's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Luca Brasi!
After winning the bout, Luca Brasi thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
