The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martin throws a low kick but it's checked well by Steele.
Nice straight punches there by Steele. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Steele.

It looks like George Steele has been cut.
Steele misses with a straight left.
Martin misses with a series of wild punches.
Martin fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Steele is out of range.
Steele looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Steele walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Martin checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Martin takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Martin misses with a wild combination.
Steele throws a head kick that misses.
A shot to the liver by Steele. Beautiful body shot.
Steele fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Martin checks it well.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Steele lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Martin has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Martin and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Martin tried to score with a low kick but Steele checks it.

Martin looks to score with a jab to the body but Steele is just out of range.

Martin throws a leg kick that is checked
and Steele counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Steele throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Martin throws a shot from downtown. Steele moves away and avoids it.
Steele looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Martin!
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Steele fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Martin is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
