The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smirnov lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Smirnov moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Smirnov connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Silva fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Smirnov avoids it really well and circles away.
Slava Smirnov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Renato Silva.
Silva takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Slava Smirnov is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Smirnov connects with a stiff jab that staggers Silva - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
