Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rock Bottom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chino Reyes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rock Bottom could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Chino Reyes's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rock Bottom! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Chino Reyes! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shigeki Sano and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reyes lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bottom circles away quickly and effectively. Bottom closes the distance and clinches up with Reyes, looking for a takedown. Bottom pushes Reyes against the cage but Reyes circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Reyes misses with a head kick.
Bottom misses with a takedown attempt - Reyes sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Bottom circles away from the clinch attempt.
Reyes fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Bottom avoids it really well and circles away. Reyes fails to land the takedown. Bottom gets caught napping as Reyes dives in and scores a takedown. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Bottom tries to get out of the position. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Reyes accidentally thumps the mat. That's going to take a lot out of Chino Reyes. Reyes tries to close the distance and clinch but Bottom swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. That's three minutes gone in the round. Bottom cracks Reyes with an elbow. That is naaassty. Bottom in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Bottom looks up at the clock and then as Reyes takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Bottom smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Reyes tries to strike from the bottom but misses. Bottom will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Bottom scoring with punches from side control. Bottom is putting a hurting on Reyes here, landing some big shots from side control. Bottom working away. Reyes wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Reyes taking punishment in the form of punches.
Bottom avoids the strikes from the bottom by Reyes. Reyes is looking to reverse the position. Bottom really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. That's four minutes gone in the round. Reyes throws Bottom to one side and escapes! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Reyes is defended easily by Bottom. Reyes tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bottom swivels and escapes. Reyes shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Bottom defends it nicely. Bottom gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Reyes tries a knee to the head but Bottom blocks it.
Bottom turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Bottom manages to end up in side control. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Bottom lands a few punches from side control. Reyes is trying to control Bottom's posture but Bottom avoids it. Reyes wants to get back to his feet but Bottom drags him back down. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Rock Bottom will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Reyes looking to sit in guard and control but Bottom gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Bottom advances to half guard. Reyes flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Reyes wants to improve his position but Bottom is controlling well.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Bottom lands a big shot there that rocks Reyes but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Rock Bottom overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Bottom postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Bottom postures up in Reyes's guard and throws a big left but Reyes blocks it. Bottom missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Reyes closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Bottom turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Bottom landing a few strikes. Reyes regains half guard. Bottom working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Reyes is staying active underneath Bottom, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Bottom scoring with strikes to the body and head. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Reyes wants to control but Bottom is keeping busy and won't allow it. Bottom looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Reyes with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Bottom works his way into side control. Bottom looks up at the clock and then as Reyes takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Bottom smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Reyes is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Bottom off and has taken his back!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Reyes is trying to stick to Bottom's back but Bottom is turning into Reyes. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Reyes's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Bottom. Bottom postures up and lands a big shot to Reyes's brow. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Reyes is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Reyes trying to control the position.
Bottom passes into half guard. Bottom lands with a punch from half guard. Reyes is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Bottom scores with a couple of nice shots. Bottom seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Bottom looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Bottom takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
And that's the end of the fight! Rock Bottom showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Bottom, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
