Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Feng Wei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vito Corleone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wei's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Tekken DR - Snow Castle. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Corleone looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
A right-left combo lands from Wei.
Corleone tries to close the distance and clinch but Wei swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Wei fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Corleone sprawls well initially but Wei persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Wei content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Corleone throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Wei in particular looking to stall.
Corleone tries to kick Wei off but Wei keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Wei's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Corleone takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Corleone takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Wei is on top in guard.
Corleone can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Wei controls the pace.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Corleone had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Wei is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Corleone Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Wei's back instead.
