Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Spar Bot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Doom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Spar Bot has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Spar Bot! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dave Doom! The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, John Mangel and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bot tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Bot could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Bot looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Bot dives in and grabs Doom's left leg, looking for a takedown. Doom pushes down on Bot's head and hops out. Bot darts in and clinches Doom up against the cage. Doom breaks from the clinch.
Doom moves into the clinch successfully.
Doom has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Bot uses from the top position. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Bot stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Doom swivels though and keeps the full guard. Doom has control of Bot's left arm, preventing Bot from doing any damage. Bot looking to pass the guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Dave Doom. Bot clinches with his opponent.
Doom breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Bot shoots for a double leg takedown but Doom sprawls well. He's pushed Bot's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Bot clinches up with Doom and pushes him back against the cage. Doom pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Doom forces Bot back against the cage and clinches. Doom is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Doom goes for a takedown in the clinch but Bot prevents it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A knee to the head by Doom.
It looks like Spar Bot has been cut. Doom jumps guard and drags Bot to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Bot in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Bot trying to control but Doom is working from the bottom. Doom manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bot manages to get himself to full guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Doom passes into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bot is not content to let Doom control the position. Bot blocking the ground and pound attempt from Doom. Doom tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Bot. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Bot wants to get back to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Doom is pressing down on Bot's thigh, looking to free his foot. Bot is holding on for now. Doom tries to stand and escape but Bot is controlling the position. Doom prevents Bot from improving his position. Doom is trying to work for a kimura but Bot is defending well.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Bot makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dave Doom dominated that round. The cut man is working on Spar Bot's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Bot throws a push kick but Doom slaps the foot to one side. Doom tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Bot manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Doom moves into the clinch. Bot tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Doom just stands there and leans against the cage. Bot has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Doom after a bit of a struggle. Bot tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Doom just stands there and leans against the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Spar Bot. That's going to take a lot out of him. Doom lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Doom lands an elbow just above Bot 's eye. Doom effectively controlling the action here. Doom drags the fight down to the ground.
Doom looking for a sweep. Not yet Doom, not yet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Doom pulls Bot in close to his closed guard and prevents Bot from doing any damage or advancing position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Doom is trying to control the position but Bot postures up.
Dave Doom has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Doom clinches with his opponent.
Bot takes an elbow to the forehead.
Spar Bot's cut is getting worse. Doom connects with a knee to the head.
Bot is rocked!
Spar Bot's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. A nice glancing elbow lands by Doom. Oh Bot is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! The referee is keeping an eye on Doom - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Doom lands a big knee to the head and Bot goes down! Doom pounces and finishes the fight with strikes! He jumps to his feet and celebrates with the crowd!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:09 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dave Doom! An out of breath Dave Doom thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
