Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Rees (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kren Litzke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Litzke is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Feuer Frei by Rammstein. Kren Litzke acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kyle Rees! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kren Litzke! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Daniel Franklin and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rees swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A jab from Rees misses. Rees tries to close the distance and clinch but Litzke swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Rees throws a series of punches but Litzke avoids them all with ease. Rees misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Rees could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Rees tries to clinch up but Litzke circles away and keeps his distance. Rees throws a sloppy head kick and Litzke moves out of range easily. Rees throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Litzke. Rees lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rees tries a head kick but it misses.
Rees works the jab nicely. Rees throws a right and a left that Litzke avoids nicely. Rees closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Rees lands in his opponent's guard. Rees tries to stand but Litzke is controlling from the bottom.

Litzke is trying to get back to full guard. Rees decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Rees pushes Litzke up against the cage in a clinch. Litzke prevents Rees from breaking the clinch.

Litzke displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Rees throws out the jab. A head kick misses from Rees. Rees with a jab. Rees throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Rees fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Rees looks to land a combination. Litzke sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Rees wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Rees shoots for a double leg takedown but Litzke sprawls well. He's pushed Rees's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Rees misses with an uppercut. Rees misses with a series of wild punches.
Rees throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Litzke on the side of the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rees throws a hook to the side of Litzke's head but Litzke sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Rees throws a right and a left that both miss. The fighters circling - Rees throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Rees misses with the combination.
Kyle Rees seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rees changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Litzke tries to avoid it but Rees manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Litzke to the ground. Litzke escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kyle Rees. That's going to take a lot out of him. Decent striking displayed by Rees there. Rees throws a series of strikes that have Litzke backpedaling.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Litzke is trying to improve his position. Litzke is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Rees off and has taken his back! Rees fending off the submission attempt from Litzke. Rees is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. Litzke is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Rees knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Rees for a finish. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rees is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Rees keeping full guard, as Litzke tries to pass. Litzke drops back, looking for a kneebar! Rees looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Rees looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Rees!

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Litzke dodges the punch combination from Rees.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Litzke avoids the head kick by Rees.

Rees throws a lazy right hand but Litzke sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Litzke bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Litzke Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Rees's back instead. Rees is in a bad position with Litzke working for a choke. Rees manages to spin nicely into guard and the danger is over for the moment. Rees stands up from guard. Let's bang! Rees throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Litzke steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Rees. Rees misses the shot to the body. Rees throws a push kick but Litzke slaps the foot to one side. Rees throws a head kick that Litzke semi-blocks.
Litzke takes a body punch but keeps moving. Rees throws a looping overhand right but Litzke ducks down to avoid it. Rees looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Rees misses with a head kick.

Rees has his takedown stuffed and Litzke counters with a nice double leg into side control. Rees won't be happy with that. Litzke thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Litzke is absolutely dripping with sweat - he looks exhausted. Litzke tries for a kimura but Rees is defending well. Litzke goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Rees has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Litzke but great work by Rees. Litzke tries to get back to half guard but can't.
