Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nanos Perdatov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Irio Arts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Perdatov might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Muhammad Ali Speech. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 2 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Nanos Perdatov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Irio Arts!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Nard Betker and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arts bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Perdatov throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Arts misses with a hook to the body
and Perdatov counters by clinching up.
Arts wants to stall.
Perdatov blocks an uppercut.
Perdatov's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Perdatov clinches up with Arts and pushes him back against the cage.
Perdatov just leaning against Arts, taking a breather.
Arts tries to throw a body punch but Perdatov avoids it by throwing Arts back against the cage.
Arts misses with the head strike.
Perdatov breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Arts pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Arts throws a low kick, looking for Perdatov's leg but Perdatov calmly moves out of range.
Perdatov leaves Arts with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Arts goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Perdatov throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Perdatov closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Arts tries to bench press Perdatov off him but Perdatov keeps the position.
Arts sneaks back into half guard.
Arts is not content to let Perdatov control the position.
Arts has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Perdatov is working away from the top position though.

Nice body punch from Perdatov - that landed with a thud.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Arts.
Arts jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Perdatov walks away with a smile on his face. Arts gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Nanos Perdatov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Irio Arts.

The fighters are battling for position here. Arts manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Arts is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Perdatov defends well.
Perdatov slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Perdatov got a little sloppy there for a moment and Arts has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Perdatov has managed to get both his arms back between Arts's legs - danger averted.
Arts escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Perdatov gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Perdatov crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Arts - the referee stops the clock and Perdatov gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Arts. Perdatov manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Perdatov shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Arts manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

A close second round but Irio Arts will probably get the nod - 10:9.

Perdatov is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Arts has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
Perdatov cracks Arts with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Arts from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.

Perdatov is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Arts. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped.

Arts stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Perdatov swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Irio Arts.

Perdatov throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Perdatov drives through with a takedown into guard.
Arts has his foot on Perdatov's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Perdatov works his way back into a safe position though.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
