Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Anton Mikhailov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Viktor Kafka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kafka has chosen Welcome to the Jungle as his entrance music. Anton Mikhailov could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Viktor Kafka's chin.

The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Radbod Blank and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mikhailov takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Kafka fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mikhailov manages to avoid it.
Kafka is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Mikhailov.
Kafka tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Kafka scores with a sloppy right hand. Mikhailov should have avoided that one.
Kafka dives in and grabs Mikhailov's left leg, looking for a takedown. Mikhailov pushes down on Kafka's head and hops out.
Mikhailov ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Mikhailov falls off balance throwing a combination
and Kafka counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Kafka tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Mikhailov was well out of range. Poor timing from Kafka.

Mikhailov throws a lazy right hand but Kafka sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Viktor Kafka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kafka throws a shot from downtown. Mikhailov moves away and avoids it.
Kafka throws a head kick that misses.

Kafka looks to land a left hand but Mikhailov moved out of range nicely.

Kafka steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Mikhailov.
Kafka shoots in and drives through. Mikhailov sprawls well.
Kafka shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Mikhailov as he jumps to the side.
Anton Mikhailov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Viktor Kafka.
Mikhailov takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Kafka misses the body punch
and Mikhailov makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Kafka connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Mikhailov lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

Kafka closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Mikhailov tries to buck Kafka off but Kafka is having none of it.

Kafka throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Mikhailov works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.

Mikhailov controls Kafka momentarily but Kafka frees himself.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Mikhailov is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Viktor Kafka will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Kafka gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Mikhailov counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Mikhailov takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Kafka stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Kafka moves into the clinch successfully.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kafka lands an uppercut, right on the button! Mikhailov tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.

A relieved looking Viktor Kafka thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
