Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between John Albert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Flagship Carrier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Albert might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Travis Barker Ft. Yelawolf, Twista, Busta Rhymes & Lil Jon - Let's Go. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Frank Dennis and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Albert shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Albert tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Albert tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Carrier manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Albert jabs Carrier right on the nose. Carrier blinks but takes it well.
Albert lands with a kick to the temple. Carrier shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

John Albert seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Carrier throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Carrier winds up and cracks Albert with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
