Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kazuo Hanayama!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hanayama throws out a loose jab but Gannicus uses good head movement to avoid it.
Sloppy strikes from Gannicus. Those never looked like landing.
Hanayama uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Gannicus has time to react.
A head kick misses from Gannicus.
A telegraphed right hand from Hanayama misses the target.
Hanayama connects with a good right hand that stumbles Gannicus. Gannicus circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Gannicus throws a series of punches but Hanayama avoids them all with ease.
Gannicus lands a big right hand that sends Hanayama crashing to the mat! Gannicus stays standing though and waves Hanayama back to his feet!
It looks like Kazuo Hanayama has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Gannicus takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Gannicus misses with a double jab
and Hanayama counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Hanayama blocks a head kick by Gannicus.
Gannicus shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Hanayama counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Gannicus is looking to clinch.
Hanayama blocks a head kick by Gannicus.
Gannicus throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Hanayama counters with a lovely shot to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hanayama swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Gannicus.
Gannicus falls off balance throwing a combination
and Hanayama connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Gannicus is rocked!
Crixus Gannicus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gannicus is breathing heavily.
Gannicus tries to land a front kick but Hanayama steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Hanayama drops Gannicus with a big left hand and mounts him. Gannicus is in big trouble!
Oh Gannicus is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Hanayama postures up and throws a big right hand. BOOM! Right on the button! Gannicus is out cold - huge knockout for Hanayama!
