The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Rei crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Cregov - the referee stops the clock and Rei gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Cregov. Rei manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Cregov has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Rei finds it's way round the side to connect with Cregov's head.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Cregov fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Cregov has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Cregov there as he acknowledges the shot.
Rei fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Cregov on the side of the head.

Cregov throws a hook but Rei blocks it.
Rei lands a big head kick that sends Cregov tumbling to the mat! Rei takes a step backwards and waves Cregov back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Cregov takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.

Cregov takes a swing at Rei's ribcage but misses.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Rei.

Rei throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Cregov drops his hands momentarily and Rei takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Cregov's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Rei lands a nice leg kick that just misses Cregov's sensitive parts.
The fighters circle, before Rei throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Cregov's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Rei lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick & Punches). Budo Rei!
Budo Rei retains his heavyweight title!
In his post fight interview, Budo Rei gave a big smile as he said 'I want to dedicate this fight to Bank Rupt. Thank you for believing in me when no one else did. Syn Euro heavyweight champ!!!'.
