Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nikolai Rysakov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Ovrut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ovrut tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Rysakov swivels and escapes.
Rysakov tries to clinch up but Ovrut circles away and keeps his distance.
Ovrut closes this distance looking for a takedown but Rysakov circles away.
Rysakov moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Rysakov has taken the fight to the clinch.
Ovrut takes an elbow to the forehead.

Ovrut escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Rysakov fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Ovrut looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Ovrut shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Rysakov napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Nikolai Rysakov has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Rysakov tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Ovrut manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
