Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Krystof Teverdosky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Dux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dux has chosen Kumite as his entrance music. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Krystof Teverdosky!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Frank Dux!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Gregory Folan and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Teverdosky throws a right and a left that both miss.
Teverdosky misses with a takedown attempt - Dux sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Dux tries for a takedown but Teverdosky circles away easily

and Teverdosky counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Dux's guard now.
Teverdosky trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Dux keeping moving, preventing Teverdosky from controlling successfully.
Dux avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Teverdosky stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dux swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Dux is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Teverdosky dives into side control.
Dux is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Teverdosky wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Dux, who protects the arm well.
Teverdosky is looking to take a break and control but Dux is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Teverdosky tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Teverdosky has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Teverdosky looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Teverdosky is breathing heavily.
Dux is in a bad spot here and he knows it... just holding on for now.
Dux struggling a bit here.
Dux is not content to let Teverdosky control the position.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Dux is trying to control Teverdosky's posture but Teverdosky avoids it.
Dux stops Teverdosky from passing to mount.
Dux wants to control but Teverdosky postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.

and Teverdosky counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Teverdosky would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Teverdosky thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.

Teverdosky looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Teverdosky prevents Dux from improving his position.
Teverdosky is keen to just control but Dux is a slippery customer.
Dux is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Dux is trying to improve his position.

Teverdosky looks to land a combination but Dux avoids it well.
Dux closes the distance but Teverdosky moves to the side

and Teverdosky decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Dux's guard.
Teverdosky wants to control from the top but Dux keeps moving.

Teverdosky is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Dux is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Dux has escaped and now he's on top!
Teverdosky is pulling down on Dux's head to control his posture.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!


Dux closes the distance but Teverdosky moves to the side

and Teverdosky counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Teverdosky.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Teverdosky works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Teverdosky is working for an americana but Dux has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Teverdosky was thinking about the submission.
Teverdosky trying to control the position from guard on top but Dux is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Teverdosky tries to free his leg and advance position but Dux is retaining full guard.

Teverdosky is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Teverdosky prevents Dux from getting back to his feet.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Dux should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Dux is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Teverdosky is controlling him.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Dux darts in trying to clinch
and Teverdosky counters with a series of strikes. Dux will be more careful next time no doubt.
Dux tries to close the distance and clinch up but Teverdosky swats him away and circles back towards the center.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Teverdosky feints and as Dux raises his hands in defense, Teverdosky changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Teverdosky wants to pass the guard but Dux is keeping the position.
Teverdosky is working hard here to advance position.
Teverdosky seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Teverdosky, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
