Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sergeant Peppers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peppers comes to the cage accompanied by Wanton Song -- Led Zepplin. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jack Anderson! The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Summer Carpenter and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Peppers connects with a body shot that sends Anderson's belly button to the back. Anderson misses with a hook. Peppers ducked under it nicely. Peppers slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Peppers swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Peppers blocks a head kick by Anderson.
Anderson doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Jack Anderson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Peppers throws a leg kick which misses Anderson's front leg but catches the back leg as Anderson tries to avoid it. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Peppers avoids the head kick by Anderson.
Peppers slips a jab from Anderson. Donk. Peppers catches Anderson right on the button with a cross.
It looks like Jack Anderson has been cut. Nice straight punches there by Peppers. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Peppers. Anderson drops his hands momentarily and Peppers takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Peppers punishes Anderson's body with a nice straight punch. Anderson throws a head kick that misses. Anderson throws a low kick but it's checked well by Peppers. Peppers circles away from the clinch attempt and Peppers counters with a low kick, right behind Anderson 's knee. Anderson looks gassed!
That's one minute gone in the round. Peppers chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Peppers's jab looks to have found its range, popping Anderson under the eye. Peppers avoids a kick to the body.
Peppers fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Anderson throws a low kick but Peppers moves out of range easily. Anderson fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Peppers checks it well. Anderson throws an overhand right that lands on Peppers's shoulder, as Peppers tries to avoid the shot. A big right from Peppers misses. Anderson avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Peppers stuns Anderson with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Peppers shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Anderson is trying to defend but Peppers finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Peppers performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Anderson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Peppers. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Anderson is refusing to be controlled, as Peppers sits in half guard. Peppers stops Anderson from getting back to his feet.
Anderson wants to get back to full guard. Anderson is trying to maintain the position but Peppers is very close to passing his half guard. Peppers is looking to take a break and control but Anderson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Peppers content to control rather than advance. Anderson is not content to let Peppers control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Sergeant Peppers just wasn't active enough. Peppers lands a right hook to the body.
Anderson lands a nice shot to the body.
Peppers lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Anderson just misses with a punch to the body.
Anderson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Peppers moves out of range of the body kick. Anderson stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Peppers. This has been an exciting period of action! A low kick from Anderson misses and Peppers counters with a two punch combo.
That has opened up Jack Anderson's cut even more. Peppers looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. No luck for Peppers with that takedown attempt. Peppers throws a shot to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Peppers misses with a body kick. Anderson swings away with a body shot that misses
enabling Peppers to counter with a crisp jab.
The cut above Jack Anderson's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Jack Anderson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Good work by Peppers as he checks the leg kick. Anderson thows a body shot but no joy. Peppers connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Anderson's hands. Peppers misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Peppers tries to land a body kick and Anderson counters with a low kick, right behind Peppers 's knee. Peppers throws a leg kick that misses. Peppers throws a low kick but Anderson avoids it. Anderson checks the leg kick nicely there.
Peppers looks for the body kick but Anderson saw that one coming. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Anderson displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Peppers. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sergeant Peppers. That's going to take a lot out of him. Anderson pulls out of a head kick attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sergeant Peppers dominated that round. The cut man is working on Jack Anderson's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Jack Anderson's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters. Peppers throws a head kick but Anderson moves out of range.

Peppers drops Anderson with a beautiful combination! Anderson stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Peppers is looking for the KO!
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Jack Anderson's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
