Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Khulet Malapitan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Sisphar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Malapitan has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Sisphar lands a big head kick that sends Malapitan tumbling to the mat! Sisphar takes a step backwards and waves Malapitan back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Khulet Malapitan has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Malapitan tries to bum rush Sisphar with a series of wild strikes but Sisphar uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Sloppy strikes from Malapitan. Those never looked like landing. Sisphar throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Sisphar wants to clinch up but Malapitan keeps it at a distance. Sisphar pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Sisphar fails with an attempt to clinch.
Sisphar throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Malapitan is breathing heavily. A head kick misses from Sisphar. Whack! Sisphar lands a heavy head kick that drops Malapitan. The ref tackles Sisphar to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Malapitan was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Jimmy Sisphar!
