Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dimon Boets! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Harry Sinclair! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Aafke Stam and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sinclair fails with a takedown attempt. Sinclair is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Boets. Sinclair checks a leg kick. Boets closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Boets lands in his opponent's guard. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Boets trying to control but Sinclair is working from the bottom. Boets is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Boets landing with the ground and pound. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Boets trying to control the position from guard on top but Sinclair is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Sinclair is looking for a triangle but Boets pushes his legs off easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sinclair has his foot on Boets's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Boets works his way back into a safe position though. Boets scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Sinclair throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Sinclair is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Sinclair keeping moving, preventing Boets from controlling successfully. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Sinclair has momentary wrist control but Boets slips an elbow through the middle. Sinclair is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Boets is aware though and is defending well. Boets passes easily into side control. Nice work. Sinclair is looking for a sweep. Boets lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Sinclair down.
Sinclair tries to buck Boets off but Boets is having none of it. Boets landing a few strikes. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Sinclair takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Boets wants to control but Sinclair is keeping him busy. Boets lands an elbow. Boets lands a strong strike to the head of Sinclair. That's dazed him! Boets looking to finish here. Sinclair is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Boets lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dimon Boets! Post fight, Dimon Boets stared into the camera and said 'Вот это прикол!!!'.
