Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Joe Santiago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vanilla Ice Cold (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ice Cold has chosen Adrenaline! as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santiago takes a swing at Ice Cold's ribcage but misses.
Santiago fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Ice Cold avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Santiago throws a right and a left that both miss.
Ice Cold changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Santiago tries to avoid it but Ice Cold manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Santiago to the ground. Santiago escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Santiago fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Santiago really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
A lazy left from Ice Cold finds it's target.
Ice Cold doesn't manage to clinch there - Santiago circles away.
Ice Cold tries to land a front kick but Santiago steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Santiago on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Santiago just misses with a punch to the body.
Santiago gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Santiago tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Ice Cold is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Santiago buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Santiago!! Santiago is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Ice Cold throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Vanilla Ice Cold!
Vanilla Ice Cold is the new featherweight champion!
Vanilla Ice Cold was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
