Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Erick Villar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Prince Valor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Villar comes to the cage accompanied by Kalamidad. Prince Valor will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Erick Villar! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Prince Valor! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Valor throws a hook but Villar avoids it easily. Good leg kick by Valor there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Valor throws a quick inside leg kick. Villar swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Valor counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. The fighters circling - Villar throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Valor misses with a hook. Valor misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Villar.
Valor scores with a leg kick.
Valor stuffs the takedown. Villar fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Valor thows a body shot but no joy. Valor throws a sloppy head kick and Villar moves out of range easily. Villar changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Valor tries to avoid it but Villar manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Valor to the ground. Valor escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Erick Villar. That's going to take a lot out of him. Valor defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Villar. Valor scores with a jab to the body. Villar throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Valor's waist but Valor gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Villar off to one side.
That's one minute gone in the round. Villar will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Valor clinches up against the cage. Valor blocks a body shot from Villar. Villar is trying to pull guard but Valor turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Valor lands a nice uppercut. Nice body punch from Valor. Villar swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Valor lands a shoulder strike. Villar wants a takedown.
Valor is working Villar over against the cage. Villar is breathing heavily. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Valor lands a hook to the side of the head. Valor lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Villar or not. Valor lands a hook to the side of the head. Valor digs a right hand underneath Villar's ribcage. Villar let out a lung full of air as it connected. Valor lands a body punch. Valor pushes Villar back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Valor softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Valor lands a left hand that snaps the head of Villar backwards. Valor lands with a right to the head. Valor digs a right hand into Villar's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Villar's gas tank. Valor lands a shot to the body. Valor pushes Villar back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Valor lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Valor lands a nice uppercut. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Valor creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Valor lands a hook that snaps the head of Villar backwards.
Villar is rocked! Valor lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Villar. Oh Villar is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Valor throws a big uppercut that drops Villar! More strikes from Valor and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Villar lies dazed against the cage as Valor celebrates with his cornermen!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Prince Valor! Prince Valor is the new middleweight champion! In his post fight interview, Prince Valor started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
