Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paulo Tocha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tong Po (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Po has chosen The Roots-Game Theory as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Paulo Tocha!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tong Po!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Franklyn Lucas and Dean Styles.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tocha is looking to score with low kicks.
Po misses with a low kick as Tocha jumps back.
Po avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Tocha misses with a two punch combination.
Po fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Tocha tries to clinch there but Po circles away.
Tocha doesn't manage to clinch there - Po circles away.
Po checks a leg kick.
Tocha pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Po throws a shot from downtown. Tocha moves away and avoids it.
Po wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Tocha walks into a left hand.

It looks like Paulo Tocha has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Po with a jab.
Jab, jab by Po - just one landing.
Tocha closes the distance but Po moves to the side

and Po holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Po using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Tocha has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Po lands a nice uppercut.
Tocha tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Po avoiding damage as Tocha throws knees to the body.

Po breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Po avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Po keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Po with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Po scores with a one two! Tocha had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Paulo Tocha's cut is getting worse.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Po, right into the meat.
Po throws a leg kick which misses Tocha's front leg but catches the back leg as Tocha tries to avoid it.
Tocha is breathing heavily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Tocha looking to land some kicks to the body here.
A jab from Tocha does it's job there.

Po clinches with his opponent.
Tocha is trying to stall.
Po scores with a nice hook to the head.
A nice right hand lands inside from Po.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Po takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Tocha misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Po.
Po avoiding damage as Tocha throws knees to the body.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Tocha's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Tocha stalling in the clinch but Po improves position.
Po comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

Paulo Tocha's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Po effectively controlling the action here.
Tocha tries to land knees in the clinch but Po avoids the damage to the body.
Po content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Po lands an elbow just above Tocha 's eye.

Tocha is rocked!

Jeez, Paulo Tocha's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Paulo Tocha's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Tong Po!
