Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shane Johns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hans Laudrup (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johns comes to the cage accompanied by By the Sword - Slash. Laudrup has chosen Zoo Station as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Shane Johns has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Shane Johns seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Trevor Gratis and Steve Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laudrup blocks the body kick.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Laudrup breaks the clinch.
Johns tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Laudrup was well out of range. Poor timing from Johns.
Laudrup scores with a jab to the body.
Johns tries to clinch up but Laudrup circles away and keeps his distance.
Johns keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Johns throws a right and a left that both miss.
Johns throws a head kick that misses
and Laudrup counters with a nice body shot.
Laudrup moves out of range as Johns throws a body kick.
Laudrup swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Laudrup throws a combination that misses
and Johns counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Johns moves out of range of the strikes.
A combination from Johns does no damage.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Laudrup lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Johns has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Johns and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

A looping hook to the body misses from Johns. Laudrup does a little dance to reset his feet.

Laudrup is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Johns's half guard.
Johns is trying to get back to full guard.
Laudrup thows a huge punch but Johns dodges it nicely.

Johns has hold of Laudrup's hands but Laudrup slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Laudrup cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Johns holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Laudrup tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

Johns is trying to escape the mount.
Johns is squirming around, avoiding Laudrup's attempts to control the action.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Laudrup scoring with strikes but Johns is staying in there.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Laudrup cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Johns can't escape the position.
Laudrup tries to control but Johns wriggling away.
Johns is desperately trying to improve his position but Laudrup has a good base and remains in mount.
Laudrup lands with some strikes.

Johns is rocked!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Laudrup breaks from Johns's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Oh Johns is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Laudrup postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Johns in real trouble here! The ref calls for Johns to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hans Laudrup!
