Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Walter Bond (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ching Gui (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Walter Bond! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ching Gui! The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Paul Gruel and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bond doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Bond rushes Gui and presses him up against the cage. Gui stalling in the clinch.
Gui lands on the inside with an uppercut. Gui breaks from the clinch.
Bond ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gui moves away. Bond has a takedown stuffed. Bond throws a left and a right that both miss
and Gui moves into the clinch. Gui misses with a body punch.
Bond takes a shot to the head. A battle for position here, against the cage. Gui lands a hook to the side of the head. Bond tries to pull guard but Gui forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Bond throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Bond is trying to pull guard but Gui turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Walter Bond. That's going to take a lot out of him. Gui is defending well against a takedown attempt. Bond tries to pull guard but Gui won't allow it.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Bond missing with knees to the body.
Gui tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Bond's elbow.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bond tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Gui smiles and moves away.
Gui swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Bond. Gui feints and then cracks Bond's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Bond down. Gui lands with a kick to the temple. Bond shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Gui throws a chopping leg kick but Bond manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Bond gets a clinch. Gui avoids a wild elbow strike from Bond. Gui can't find room to land a body shot as Bond controls the action.
Gui lands an uppercut. A short right hand to the side of the head by Gui. Gui cracks Bond with a nice body shot. Bond prevents a body shot from Gui. Gui scores with a hook to the body. Bond has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Gui uses from the top position. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Gui wants to stand and escape but instead Bond has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bond with a flurry of punches that miss. Bond showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Bond advances position into side control! Gui is trying to control Bond's posture but Bond avoids it. Bond tries for a kimura but Gui is defending well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gui is trying to control Bond's posture but Bond avoids it. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Gui can do anything to dispel that myth. Gui wants to get back to his feet but Bond drags him back down. Gui is trying to escape the position but Bond is controlling the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Gui tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Bond presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gui's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Gui is trying to reverse the position but instead Bond has taken his back - oops! Bond biding his time, looking for the opening.
Gui is in bad spot here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
Gui is trying to roll into a better position but Bond has get a rear naked choke and Gui is forced to tap out! This one is allllll over!
