Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mason Terell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Degen Gambler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
15 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mason Terell!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Degen Gambler!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Jorge Garcia and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Terell throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gambler's waist but Gambler gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Terell off to one side.
Terell misses with a body shot.
Terell connects with a crisp jab.
Gambler misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A swing and a miss from Terell.
Terell throws a hook to the side of Gambler's head but Gambler sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Gambler throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Terell swings for the body but Gambler moves out of range.
Terell works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Gambler misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Gambler takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Terell tries to score a power double leg takedown but Gambler sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Terell somewhat.
Terell lands a jab to Gambler's midsection.

Terell scores with a hook to the body. Gambler takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Terell throws a hook but Gambler blocks it.
Terell wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Gambler misses with a head kick.
Terell lands a right hook to the body.
Terell feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

No joy there for Terell, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Terell on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Gambler. Gambler obviously looking to wear him down.

Gambler gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Terell throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Gambler stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Terell shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Gambler as he avoids it easily.

Terell moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Gambler, as that shot connected.

and Gambler counters with a one-two to the body.

Terell leaves Gambler with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Mason Terell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Terell needs to keep his hands up - Gambler had a free shot at his head there.

Gambler controls Terell momentarily but Terell frees himself.

Gambler wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Degen Gambler has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Terell closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Gambler did well to prevent Terell getting side control.
Gambler is defending against the submission attempts here by Terell.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Mason Terell.
Well Terell has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
