Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Brandao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Volg Zangief (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brandao comes to the cage accompanied by The White Stripes - Seven Nation Army. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zangief takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Brandao circles away from the clinch attempt
and Brandao counters with a lead uppercut that lands right on the button! Zangief goes down! Will Zangief beat the count? 3,4,5 - he's up! No problem. Let's get back to the action!
It looks like Volg Zangief has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Brandao lands a big uppercut and this one is all over! His foe lies motionless on the canvas - a massive one punch knockout!

After the fight, Marcus Brandao was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
