Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Walt Potter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Floyd Eubanks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Potter comes to the cage accompanied by Emalkay - When I Look At You. Eubanks has chosen All Summer Long - Kid Rock as his entrance music. Floyd Eubanks acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eubanks misses with a wild body shot.
Eubanks falls off balance throwing a combination
and Potter counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Potter stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Eubanks to get to his feet.

Potter changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Eubanks looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Potter gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
Eubanks throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Potter's waist but Potter gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Eubanks off to one side.
Walt Potter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Floyd Eubanks.

Potter closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Potter shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Eubanks pinned against the cage. Eubanks gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Potter misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Eubanks misses with a series of wild punches.

Eubanks keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Potter shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Potter decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Eubanks is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Potter rather than just go for the knockout.
Potter shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Eubanks as he avoids it easily.
Potter looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Eubanks is fending him off so far but Potter persists. Nope, Eubanks circles away and we're back to standing.

Potter is trying hard to land a takedown here. Eubanks sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Potter tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Eubanks swivels and escapes.

Potter takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Eubanks misses with a body kick.
Eubanks lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Potter circles away quickly and effectively.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Potter.
Eubanks scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Eubanks tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Potter was well out of range. Poor timing from Eubanks.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Walt Potter dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Eubanks bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Potter's head backwards.
Eubanks throws a low kick but it's checked well by Potter.
Eubanks connects with a single shot there.
Horrible takedown by Potter or perhaps it was just good defense by Eubanks which made him look bad.

and Potter counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Potter.

Potter got a little sloppy there for a moment and Eubanks has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Potter has managed to get both his arms back between Eubanks's legs - danger averted.
Potter is looking to stand up but Eubanks won't let him.

Eubanks is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Potter is aware though and is defending well.

Eubanks looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Potter has picked Eubanks up and slammed him! Eubanks can't keep hold of the triangle and Potter manages to pass to side control!

Potter has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Eubanks throws a series of strikes that have Potter backpedaling.

It looks like Walt Potter has been cut.

Nice takedown defense from Eubanks. No joy for Potter on that attempt.

Eubanks drops Potter with a beautiful combination! Potter stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Eubanks is looking for the KO!

Eubanks drops Potter with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Potter! Eubanks dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!

A determined Floyd Eubanks didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
